Educational Meetings

There was unanimous attendance and participation at ECHO planning and educational meetings at the village of Dass Bala, Bubin, Yagum, and Murrat. After the initiation of ECHO projects, male villagers have begun to actively participate at informative planning meetings organized by ECHO.

The leaders and other community members are open to suggestions as to ways to improve/diversify their economy, since few sources of income exist in their remote villages. They realize that many of their precious resources are nearly exhausted and that solutions must be found. ECHO￿s meetings provide a forum where conservation and renewal plans can be discussed and put into action.
