What has ECHO already achieved?
Slide Presentations in the Communities

The directing committee provided environmental instruction by means of slide presentations to the people and school children in the subdivision of Astore High School, Bubin and Dass Bala communities and elementary schools. The villagers increased their awareness of the urgent need to become stewards of their own environment and its wildlife.

Everyone, especially the children, responded enthusiastically to the slides of the animals, many of which they learned, are critically endangered species. These presentations emphasized the value of every species, and that humans, at the top of the food chain, should be responsible in their conservative use of natural resources.
